**Ayodhya Ram Pran Pratishtha Utsav: A Historic Day for Hindus**

Today, January 22, 2024, is a historic day for Hindus around the world. On this day, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, will be consecrated with the installation of the idols of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman. This event is known as the Ram Pran Pratishtha Utsav, or the "installation of the soul of Rama."

The construction of the Ram Mandir has been a long and controversial process. The site of the temple was originally occupied by the Babri Masjid, a mosque that was built in the 16th century. In 1992, the Babri Masjid was demolished by a Hindu mob, which led to widespread riots and violence across India.

In 2019, the Supreme Court of India ruled that the disputed land belonged to Hindus and that a Ram temple could be built there. The construction of the temple began in August 2020.

The Ram Mandir is being built in the Nagara style of architecture, which is a style of Hindu temple architecture that originated in North India. The temple will be made of sandstone and will have three floors. The ground floor will be dedicated to Rama, the first floor will be dedicated to Sita and Lakshmana, and the top floor will be dedicated to Hanuman.

The consecration of the Ram Mandir is a significant event for Hindus. It is seen as a fulfillment of a centuries-old dream, and it is a sign of the community's resilience and strength. The temple is also seen as a way to heal the wounds of the past and to promote religious harmony in India.
